Where does Night of the Living Dead (Dramatized) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far? It's not the best one I've owned or listened to, but it's very entertaining. I first read the novel and heard the audiobook a loooong time ago so I was glad to find it here.

In the film Night of the Living Dead, as well as in all zombie movies, the walking dead are portrayed as mindless animals who prey on the humans around them and are “condemned to wander aimlessly across an empty, ruined earth” (Paffenroth 18).   George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead is a cult classic, a tremendously effective and influential horror film that has resonated with its audiences, and with independent film-makers, ever since its release in The movie redefined horror cinema, ripping away its Gothic cobwebs to confront harsh contemporary realities, and launched the modern zombie genre that continues with films.
